Yeshua (Jesus) is the light. Having an positive outlook on life can be helpful, but the concept within itself is flawed. We as human beings become tired of being the only ones trying to "Do what is right". So we become weary and our tempers become short. When we "Let God, Be God... This is when our outlook has truly taken on a positive role. This means we are no longer acting positive. We are absolutely positive! This is the "Light of Christ".
It also makes you one of the most spiritually powerful tools that if you are completely surrendered to God... You will be a weapon for God to wield! A vessel that will be "Love". Not just act it out. But will walk into a room... and people will flock to you because you have been transformed into God's definition of "Love".

The process of salvation is really quiet simple. First admit that you believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead 3 days later. That He surrendered His life just to save you from a possible eternity in damnation. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. That whomsoever believeth in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.
Now the above is not meant to condemn anyone. God's intention from the beginning of creation has always been about relationship and empowerment. The bible is riddled with true accounts of the "under dog" overcoming the biggest and badest of enemies that could have ever been mentioned. For instance; Everyone knows of this story... "David and Goliath". Here is a boy ranging in the age of 12 to 15 years old. Jesse already has seven sons. And then in comes David... The 8th son. Which in the Hebrew is to mean a "New Beginning". But Jesse, a high priest mind you. Rejects his youngest son. Fulfills his duty of educating David in the scriptures and the ways of God. But also this... As soon as he could, Jesse sent David to the fields to mind and look after the flocks of sheep. David does as he is told by his father. This is dangerous for him. A boy tending sheep. What hunts sheep besides raiders? Oh let's see... lions, bears and wolves. Four direct threats have already been mentioned. But in comes God. David wrote many psalms while tending the sheep. He even spoke about God being the one to train him for war. On how to fight. You see... before David encountered Goliath. He had already encountered a lion and a bear. Killed them both and prevented them from being able to steal any of his fathers sheep. David already knew what it meant to be dependent on God. He had the utmost confidence in what God would do for him. So when David heard Goliath cursing and taunting Israel and their God. He became livid! And questioned why no one had gone out to meet this unclean gentile?! To stand as an instrument to be wielded by God?! He then stated emphatically, "If none of you will rise to squash this charlatan... Then I will go an smite this heathen beast!" Wooo... Now king Saul hears of this. And asks him how is it that he is so sure that God will deliver this menacing philistine into his boyish hands. David then tells the king how God delivered him by slaying both a lion and a bear. So Saul tries to have David put his armor on... Now Saul is a large man and David is still just a boy. Lets just say that Saul's armor swallows David. And had David worn it, His brothers would of had to of sent a search party to find the poor boy. David respectfully declines the offer and tells the king that he will meet with this philistine the same way that he dealt with the lion and the bear that God had delivered him from. 1 Sam chapter 17 is where we find this story. These few verses tell what David said to the king: 1Sa 17:36 Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God. 37 David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee. 38 And Saul armed David with his armour, and he put an helmet of brass upon his head; also he armed him with a coat of mail. 39 And David girded his sword upon his armour, and he assayed to go; for he had not proved it. And David said unto Saul, I cannot go with these; for I have not proved them. And David put them off him. 40 And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine. This is how I am picturing this scene; There is nothing but silence throughout the entire Israel camp. Perhaps a few biting their fingernails out of an nervous reaction to this going to meet this GIANT. The philistines side is only curious some openly dismiss the boy. While others stand to see how this unfolds... 1Sa 17:41 And the Philistine came on and drew near unto David; and the man that bare the shield went before him. 42 And when the Philistine looked about, and saw David, he disdained him: for he was but a youth, and ruddy, and of a fair countenance. 43 And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods. 44 And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field. 45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. 46 This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. 47 And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD'S, and he will give you into our hands. 48 And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came and drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine. 49 And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth. 50 So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David. 51 Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they fled. You see up until this point, the Israel army was in despair. They had already clung to the belief that they were all going to die. This includes king Saul as well. But IN WALKS GOD'S VESSEL OF LIGHT! David was an surrendered vessel for God to wield any way he pleased. So God used David to show Israel that He still was for them. And to show the philistines that if He chose to use a mere boy... That Yeshua Yoseph (God of Justice and God the deliverer) would destroy them and any "champion" His enemies may have chosen. God saved them. Did they deserve to be saved? Most likely not. Especially king Saul. But God loved David! He loved his heart and his desire to want to please God at every turn. Our desire to want to do right is what gets Gods attention. But for Him to be able to step in on our behalves. We have to take the step of confession. Confess that we are sinners. Confess that Christ Jesus is Lord. Confess that He died and rose three days later for our remission of those said sins. And then lastly; Say from the bottom of your heart I invite you in Christ Jesus and be my God and I will be yours to use as you please. BRING LIGHT INTO YOUR LIFE! No matter what issues you have going on right now. God can handle it. Just let God be God!
